Born and raised in historic Selma, Alabama, Angela is not a new arrival to service and she’s not unfamiliar with politics in Selma. She grew up in East Selma in an area also known as “Smokey City”, and has lived and raised her children on the north side of Ward 4. Angela (formerly Mrs. Holt) has resided at the same address on Woodrow Avenue for the past 12 years. She is a Selma High School alumna and a member of Christian Grace Church. Currently, Angela serves as the Coordinator of the Coca Cola First Generation Scholarship Program at the University of Alabama.
